I came from a gymnastics background and switched to aerial skiing in 1999. I had never skied before that but thanks to my gymnastics background, picked it up quite quickly. By Feb 2002 I competed at my first Olympics in Salt Lake City where I finished 8th. The next year, I was already ranked #2 in the World.
