BOLLÉ SKI GOGGLES: INNOVATION AT ITS PEAK
In the exhilarating world of winter sports, each descent is a unique adventure and an opportunity to push your limits. To ensure an unparalleled skiing experience, Bollé designs innovative and ultra-resistant ski goggles. A constant pursuit of innovation to set new standards in terms of performance, design, and comfort.
How to choose your ski goggles?
Wearing ski goggles is not just a matter of style; safety should be at the forefront of considerations! Selecting the perfect model requires taking into account various key factors.
Your ski goggles should protect your eyes from UV rays and your face from wind, cold, and inclement weather. It should also prevent any foreign objects from entering your eyes. Lastly, it should guarantee you a wide, optimal, and clear vision, whether the weather is good or bad – the advantage of photochromic or polarizing technology.
Which lens technology to prioritize?
Advanced lens technology has historically been a strong element at Bollé. Ski goggles are available in a wide range to adapt to all sports practices and conditions. Scratch-resistant and anti-fog, Bollé goggles' lenses can be equipped with three ultra-performing lens technologies: Phantom, Phantom+, and Volt.
- Phantom
Phantom redefines how you perceive the environment. Thanks to its transmission of a broad spectrum of visible light, it automatically adjusts the tint according to the climate. In just 20 seconds, the lenses transition from light to dark, with exceptional optical clarity and 100% UV protection. The Low Temperature Sensitivity technology ensures consistent performance, even in extreme conditions.
- Phantom+
Phantom+ combines the photochromic Phantom technology with advanced polarization, eliminating annoying reflections to improve visibility in variable conditions. This innovation contributes to a more precise reading of the terrain while reducing eye fatigue.
- Volt
The first lens developed with artificial intelligence, Volt is a patented high-contrast revolution. Its ability to amplify colors and contrasts, combined with a spectacular 30% increase in detail perception, makes it an ideal ally for facing fresh snow.
How to choose the size of your ski goggles?
Each person requires a unique goggle fit. Indeed, ski goggles are not one-size-fits-all, and all faces are different. Some models are designed for children, others for narrow faces, and yet others for wider faces.
The shape and size, as well as the padding and straps of the goggles, play a crucial role in choosing the most comfortable model for your face. Moreover, your goggles should also be compatible with your protective helmet and prescription glasses, if you wear them.
Which lens color to choose?
Beyond the sole sun protection index and to optimize your visibility, Bollé offers no less than 6 variations of lens tints. These cover all types of lighting conditions, in all weather, to reduce the risk of glare.
On category 0 and 1 goggles, the tint base is often transparent to adapt to low light conditions. On category 2 and 3 ski goggles, the range of possible tints is broader:
-
Clear for foggy conditions or night skiing;
-
Yellow when the brightness is low, to enhance depth and visibility;
-
Rose for all conditions, to optimize colors, or brown, ideal in sunny environments;
-
Amber or dark gray for extremely bright conditions.
