How to choose the size of a Kids ski goggle?

Every face is different! Size is a determining factor for comfort and safety, but not only. Here's how to ensure you choose the right size ski goggle: 

• Measure the child's head: Use a measuring tape to assess your child's head circumference. Position the tape just above the ears and eyebrows. 

• Try on the goggles: If possible, have your child try on the goggle to check that it fits correctly without being too tight or too loose. 

• Adjustment systems: The adjustment of the goggles is something very individual. Beyond size, the shape, padding, and even the straps of the goggles play an important role in feeling comfortable.

Which category of ski goggles should I choose for my child?

Kids, especially the youngest, are particularly sensitive to light and glare. Unlike adults, Kids eyes do not have natural protection against the sun because their retina is still developing. To protect them as much as possible, choose ski goggles with sufficient sun protection: 

• Category 2 (CAT.2): Goggles with category 2 lenses are ideal for cloudy or slightly sunny days. They offer an intermediate tint that allows good contrast and relief distinction even in low light. It is an excellent option for changing light conditions and for beginner skiers who ski in cloudy weather. 

• Category 3 (CAT.3): Category 3 lenses are perfect for sunny days with high brightness. Their darker tint protects Kids eyes from intense UV rays and the sun's reflection on the snow. This category is ideal for young confirmed adventurers who spend a lot of time on the slopes in full sun.
